CACFP Resources
The Child and Adult Care Food Program, or CACFP, is a federal program that provides reimbursements for nutritious meals and snacks to eligible children and adults who are enrolled for care at participating child care centers, day care homes, and adult day care centers.
CACFP provides resources that are valuable to all early childhood education providers. Read the CACFP Fact Sheet. To learn more about CACFP in Pennsylvania, access the updated website. If you have questions about CACFP, please email [email protected]. |
A CACFP Story Map, created by Child Care Aware® of America (CCAoA) in partnership with the Pennsylvania Department of Health, explores CACFP participation statewide in Pennsylvania. The map also specifically highlights CACFP participation in various regions across the state and examines the potential for expanded participation in the context of food access and poverty. Beyond these findings, this story map is a testament to how state agencies can work together to implement, provide training, and raise awareness of CACFP within Pennsylvania.
