Celebrating 20 Years

Since 2002, Keystone Kids Go, a collaborative workgroup, has been actively working to improve the health of Pennsylvania’s children, staff, and families within the early childhood education community through collaboration, resource development, and systems change.

In September 2022, Keystone Kids Go was recognized by Governor Wolf in honor of the group’s twentieth anniversary. One of the very first child care classrooms to partner with Keystone Kids Go was located in Mifflin County, PA.  In celebration of the group's 20th anniversary, both a teacher and child from this classroom reconnected with Keystone Kids Go and shared an update on where they are today.

Our Mission
Through individual and collective action, Keystone Kids Go is dedicated to collaboration, resource development, and the advancement of systems change, leading to policies and practices that create environments that promote and support equitable access to knowledge, resources and affordable care for children, staff, and families within Pennsylvania’s early childhood education community, so that they can achieve and maintain their optimal health.
